Our Process
At Space Lift Auction, we make the auction process simple, efficient, and stress-free for sellers. It all starts with removing personal items or clearly marking anything not for sale. We believe the family should keep anything and everything of sentimental value prior to us getting started with what we do. You will never feel pressured to sell or dispose of anything you are the family want to keep. Once that’s done, our "boots on the ground" team handles (un)boxing, sorting, staging, and preparing for the online auction which includes creating a full catalog of pictures and descriptions of the items to be sold at online auction. Once complete, our office team is responsible for the launching of the online auction on the Midwest Auction Collective Platform along with a strategic marketing plan for maximum visibility. When the auction closes, winning bidders receive invoices and pickup instructions, ensuring a smooth transition. Any unsold items can be disposed of or cleaned up as needed. Finally, within two weeks, sellers receive a detailed breakdown of sales and expenses along with their auction proceeds check, making the entire process transparent and hassle-free.
